As a football club that has not played since Boxing Day I for one wanted a game on league agreed Ivybridge agreed officials agreed due to no barriers around Astro supporters had to watch behind the bars as a safety aspect my priority was to get game on the club did not charge I personally went around with bucket to ask for any donations and a huge thanks to all that did as the club lost money playing on Astro 7 goals three points game played job done proper job?⚽️

Sad day for football Phil was a true legend at Newquay football club and my mother in laws all time favourite player I was lucky enough to watch phil play and know him as a friend loved watching Godolphin when he wasn’t working and giving banter to the opposition I can remember when someone posted on forum need to sort the village idiot which we both laughed at when I showed him total legend friend who will be missed not just with me but anyone involved in football❤️⚽️?

Firstly I would like to say thank you to Kevin and Dave two top people and wish them all the best it's been a hard start to the season with 6 players out one due to serious injury who is out for the season we did bring in some lads from Plymouth top lads but due to their own reasons decided to leave we have a great committee and team and Godolphin Atlantic will come back bigger and stronger sorry not been on here for a while being groundsmen, kitwasher,tea lady, chief supporter of the club I love and working full time every now and then I sleep??

And no one at Godolphin Atlantic was asked either

Godolphin played some very good football and can honestly say that the score doesn't reflect on the game not taking anything away from saltash as they are a very good team we had a couple of players out on the night but again proud of all the G boys be assured the bubble has not burst at the G and as for our keeper Josh is a young lad who has stepped up to play in a higher league as our original keeper Shaun has gone to play at a higher level like every player josh will find his feet and we are very happy to have Josh at the club roll on Saturday

Newquays floodlights are not in working order so midweek games a no at Mountwise

Godolphin have signed Josh Gilbert from Liskeard Josh played for us pre season and is a very good goalkeeper all of us at the club want to wish Shaun Semmens all the best at Magnotsfield United

I for one am extremely proud of all the boys at Godolphin Atlantic as well as our committee members and supporters the best as far as I'm concerned Shaun didn't have his best game but still immensely proud like all the boys he is committed to the club and has only missed two midweek games and travels at his own expense from Bristol onwards and upwards for start of the season can't wait?⚽️
