Nemesis
Leighton Carhart scored the Newquay goal. Att 238, a smattering of Truro, St Dennis & G fans and about 20 or so from Ozzel. Scoreline was fair, Newquay had the better of the first half, Ozzel most of the 2nd period. Some dodgy challenges from both sides although the ref was happy to let play go on for the most part. Nice chat with Lafs before the match, always good to see him at Mount Wise.

Tony
Anyone know St. Austell's team? Would not have expected it to be so close a result. Newquay did well 1st half when St.Austell were dreadful. 2nd half St.Austell were much better but one of those nights when many chances went astray and the referee also conspired not to give an astonishingly blatant penalty - this left the scoreline much closer than it otherwise could have been. However, credit to Newquay, especially for their 1st half performance.

The team is usually put on the club website the morning after a night match and in the evening afterva Saturday match.
