Camelford v Newquay Tuesday 21st October

ATTENTION NEWQUAY AFC SUPPORTERS & PLAYERS - A39 DISRUPTION

A39 in Camelford closed in both directions between Collan's Cross and the B3266 Clease Road junction, because of a building fire, roads closed, delays in local area, diversions through country lanes that have trees down, not fun out there.

Does anyone have a report on the game at all? Nemesis, what are your thoughts? Are things just not going Newquay's way at the moment or is it fair to say that drastic additions need to be made to the squad?

As Baldy says, there is a report from the SWPL hierarchy on the other forum, sounds like Newquay could have been 2 up before Camelford scored. My own opinions are expressed in this Saturdays match day programme, it'd be nice if you popped up, took a look at the side and formed your own views on what might be wrong.

The Peppermints now have a run of 5 home games in quick succession - Sat 25th v Torpoint, Tues 28th v St Austell, Sat 1st v Slimbridge (FA Vase), Tues 4th v Falmouth and Sat 8th v Elburton. A failure to gain 6-8pts would be a disaster, lets's hope the Vase match will be a nice distraction from the SWPL.

Sad times at Mount wise, hope they can start to get some points on the board, but 5 home games doesn't guarantee that especially when you look at some of the opposition. If newquay are in the same position come Christmas then you have to fear they will be going down.

No one let's a team go down mate, but what more can the committee do really, Ross is still interim manager I think, but are the club still seeking a new manager your guess is as good as mine, the fact the couldn't get one in before the season starts speaks volumes for the situation the club is in.
