Dave Deacon
Thanks to the SWPL Forum for updating with a further revised 2nd Q Round Draw following midweek replays and also that Bishop Sutton played an ineligible player! Paul
Nice away trips for Withy, Parkway and Wadebridge. Been to their opponents grounds over the years. St Blazey will need to play alot better than last night to beat Barnstaple. Then hopefully a good away day to follow.
Mike Odgers
Falmouth Town will be hosting Ashton & Backwell United from the Western League Division 1 who changed their title from Backwell United in 2010 when amalgamating with Ashton Boys F C (Bristol)In the previous round Ashton & Backwell lost 2-4 at Home to Bishop Sutton of the W.L. Premier div. and were re instated after the visitors played an ineligible playerThe club SW of Bristol will be making their first visit to Bickland Park and it was in 2012-13 they lost 0-1 at AFC St.Austell also in the Vase. Tony
Mike - when they played St.Austell they had a brilliant keeper, very imposing, ex league keeper who had great banter with the crowd as well. St.Austell beat Bishop Sutton 5-0 in the FA Cup so if they beat Ashton & Backwell you would think Falmouth have every chance even though they've yet to win this season (I think!) Gareth Rowett
Yes Tony it was Stuart Jones, ex-Sheffield Wednesday. I wonder if he is still playing.
