Gwinear 2-5 West Cornwall Fair report from Ballsax on the game, i thought we gave West Cornwall a real game for 60 mins playing with great intensity . In the end tiredness and a few injuries caused us to drop off, but credit to West Cornwall, you can see why they are in with a great shout for the league, especially with a win against Caharrack last week. They have some top players in the side notablly Robbie Condie whos a real handful and the short lad in midfield who ran the game the last 20mins. Some fine performances from Gwinear yesterday, especially the young lads, the team has regulary this year fielded 4-5 16yr olds each week. These boys are a credit to the club, and have great futures ahead of them. All of them are easily capable of playing a higher standard, i just hope i can keep hold of them for a few more seasons. Gwinear 7-1 Storm, all credit for Storm who turned up with great attitude, after some loser decided to do donuts in their car on our pitch on Halloween night and do their their best to wreck it!!, Great attitude by all storm players and ref, who just wanted to play the game, credit to my players who gave 100%, special mention to JP and Byrno who for two dinasours were excellent today!

Gwinear Churchtown Fc 3-1 Newlyn Non Athletico Cornwall FA website result wrong, they gave it 1-2 win to Newlyn? Great game to watch, both sides playing some really good football, but Gwinears' finishing better on the day. Goals from Cameron Irish 2, Ashley Dunn 1.

Holmans 4 - 3 Gwinear Fc , good game to watch tonight. Both sides playing some good stuff at times, Holmans missed some good chances in the second half, but to be fair Gwinear came close on a few occasions near the end of the game. Good luck to Holmans they'll be right up there this season, good bunch and some really tidy players. Disappointed to lose, but cant fault my players effort.
