Nanpean 1 Bude 2

Bude won this game at a canter after having a man sent off after 35 minutes through a very unfair dismissal bude showed the type of the performance you can expect for a team that will be up there challenging at the end of the season.

Bude took the lead after 25 minutes through a henry mann goal. A well taken goal slotted past the keeper. Then the mood changed in the game when scott palmer was sent off for a last man challenge,Yet to see how this was a red card but there we go. Nanpean equalized through the resulting penalty.

Bude then took the lead again with another henry mann goal and run out fully deserved winners by the end of the game having seen the game out for a long while with 10 players.

Then the trouble started which can be described as nothing short of disgraceful from there so called fans... Mass brawl at the end from a disgruntled fan who shouldn't of been anywhere near the field of play.

Then the bude manager being jumped by 5 or 6 so called fans yet again in the bar and turning into another mass brawl, Dont know how often this happens but was terrible to see and not needed in any football let alone local football.

Nanpean were beaten by a well disciplined Bude side who took the leadmid way through the 1st. Nanpean worked hard and created a couple of chances for striker Dan Peters, who 2nd effort was brilliant saved by the Visitors keeper.

Nanpean got there rewards when the ref gave a penalty which was blatant, Red Card shown was the letter of the law, although I feel a bit harsh.

We went with 3 up top after the break but Bude had a game plan and it worked. They played the 2nd half with 10 men brilliantly and got another in the early part of the 2nd half, although Nanpean huffed and puffed Bude were well worth the win.

The game in itself was of few chances, although a good Bude move after 20mins resulted in a brilliant save by Morton in the home goal.

The ref had a decent game, although it could have got a little ugly when the sent off player decided to enter the field of play from the dugout when he should have been no where near the pitch.

The referee dealt with this well and the game continued to its conclusion.

Well Done to Bude on a good win, and good luck for the rest of the season.

Can't comment on the altercation at the end more then to say nothing to do with any Nanpean players, game was played hard and fair and was a good advert for Cup Football

Thanks for comment westhamfan, we have improved steadily over the last 6 months and will continue too. Glad your boys looking forward to it, lets hope its as good a game as yesterday.

You played well 2nd period and our young side would have only learned from it.

You boys best team we played so far and can't see you being out the top 3.

It is not acceptable at any standard of football to have these types of spectators. 4 or 5 doll collecting thugs, simply looking for trouble. If it continues, teams will probably refuse to travel down there! Nanpean need to ban these people ASAP before a good reputation gets ruined. Always known Nanpean as a well run, friendly club! I find myself questioning this after yesterday

Really enjoyed the game yesterday which was played in a good and competitive spirit. Decent banter on the pitch with the Nanpean players, but the game was completely spoilt by those tossers behind the goal who spent most of the 2nd half shouting crap at the Bude keeper and back 3. For our manager to get beaten up after the match is nothing less that shocking. They need to be banned from being anywhere near your pitch as it's a time bomb waiting to happen another week.
