THE BALD ONE
Away game would have been nice.
Paul
About as dull a Vase draw as I can remember for St Blazey.
green&whitebarmyarmy
Why Paul? Are Camelford not worthy of their position in the competition?
Dave Deacon
Away game would have been nice. You will be in the Second qual round!
Paul
Why Paul? Are Camelford not worthy of their position in the competition? Nothing to do with that. We will play Camelford twice this season if not more with the chance of cup competitions. So to draw a local side in the Vase is always disapointing. You like to play sides from different leagues. Preferably away and make a day of it.
green&whitebarmyarmy
Regional draws dictate that this is going to happen every year surely? Would you like to see a bigger geographical area for teams to be drawn against each other?
THE BALD ONE
A nice away draw , up country somewhere. Further away the better , always the same group of teams.
hedgerow
What happened to Ivybridge Town and Exmouth Town Application, facilities not up to scratch ? which I find very hard to believe.

hedgerow
Information missing off the application form, or did the FA not receive it ?
Mike Odgers
I think I heard that as they had received their ground grading that would mean automatic qualification.
ODDBALL
Really not to sure of what to make of this fiasco at Ivybridge...First we here its an admin problem, that is the reason they are not competing in the FA Vase and now it comes to light that they thought they were automatically entered because they finished in the top six last year. Unless I am mistaken they have not entered the FA Cup either..... Now , if the likes of Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Co have to apply, surely a small team from south Devon has to also. This is a massive oversight by the Bridgers, especially after all the hard work behind the scenes getting Erme Valley looking as it does, and even more so for the management team and players after all their hard work last term. The potential loss in prize money and indeed local media coverage in this day and age could make a big difference to a club such as Ivybridge. Its such a pity, that after a great season on the pitch last year, they wont get the rewards that many feel they deserve. Oh well maybe next year
Richard Rundle
They'd have been wasting their time entering the FA Cup this season, you have to play one season it the FA Vase first.
Paul
The region for the early rounds is to small. Teams dont enter the competition if they only want to draw sides just up the road. These cups give different clubs the chance to play each other. The FA do everything to ruin that in my opinion.
baldy
I believe that the regions were doubled in size some years ago. I think they are now in groups of 16 teams so it doesn't take too much progress to have a good chance of a decent trip.
