Dave Deacon
True - not a classic but I thought Truro were always more likely to break the deadlock, which in in the end they did with brilliant pinpointed cross from Barry Hayles finding Craig Duff who headed into roof of the net. Once they got in front they were never going to lose. Dorchester lacked any real killer punch upfront to threaten. Farkins is a real strong man at the back and won't let too much go by him, and fairly pacy too for a big guy. Just wish Vassell would run at defences more - could be a real threat with a little more confidence that he is capable of ripping opponents apart! Overall though more than a comfortable win. Paul
Are they bringing many supporters to away matches? I see Paulton Rovers had over 300. They struggle to get 130 most weeks id imagine.

Brianmooreshead
Sad to see Anyone of a certain age has a soft spot for Hereford after their seventies cup runs I watched a Auto Windscreens game in freezing fog there in the nineties - Lovely little place
Jeff's Telling
Saw Hereford v Chelsea (yes) in the old Div 2 ( a 2-2 draw I recall) in the mid 1970s - think Eddie McCreadie was the Chelsea Manager, and The Cat in goal - must have been 10,000 there watching Also saw Argyle there when they were promoted under Tony Waters from the old Div 3 - hitched there, got there at half time Argyle 1-0 up, eventually winning 5-1 Mariner/Rafferty et al - think Barry Vassallo scored a screamer Nostalgia isn't what it used to be !! Coats for goalposts !!
Mike Odgers
Saw Hereford at Bickland Park in 1975 which was part of the deal in Roy Carter signing for the "Bulls" after leaving Falmouth for the start of an illustrious career in league football. Dave Deacon
Can someone who was at the game please confirm who headed in Truro's first goal - I was there and pretty certain I watched Craig Duff head home. However, I see on the League's site it's got Jamie Lowry!
