On the 'give a flying **** ometer' I'm still at a zero

i love the quote about Lee hodges building a team to compete at the top of the ladder. How's he meant to do that with no assurances about what's going on?

Lets be honest, what has changed from 12 months ago, nothing.

Oh, apart from the fact that Masters got rid of the manager who got us to our highest league position, ever, and dismantled a great squad.

Still no further forward on securing a permanent home.

Helical Bar not interested in SilverBow anymore.

The team fighting to avoid relegation.

Well Mr Chairman,I might be classified as stupid and have'nt a clue how to run a buisness or a football club.but your continuous use of "  #deliverence " with everything associated with TCFC,makes you look a bit of a plonker.

Not wanting to sound stupid but can't the ground just be bought back if no businesses are interested in a plot

Great idea.

Instead of spending a so called fortune on getting a super squad together, and telling everybody at the start of the season, you are about to s££t miracles,

why not make a massive effort, with a big publicity push and try and buy Treyew Rd.

How much would it cost to buy back

The value of the land as a retail park / housing + the original debt of the loans "paid" off + the money helical put in + probably the original £150,000 as well.

They will all want their money back, and make a few quid out of it too.

Why don't these multi-millionaire owners of TCFC just crack on and get Silver Bow built themselves.  The unresolved reserve matters are only blocked by financial issues so they can cough up and send in the bulldozers.  They could then truly  be considered saviours of the club rather than people that just want to cash in on Developers speculation.  Basically if you want your own stadium get on and build one.

Absolute, spot on.Hit the nail on the head.

If Masters is TCFC through and through.# deliverence. He made a nice bit of cash for the sale of the nightclub L2.

Get on with SilverBow.

But he moans, about Helical Bar,wants help from the Council,or anyone else, that would splash the cash.

He has been looking to off load the Club and get investment, but a club with no ground,is not a great selling opportunity.

So no,the owners wont crack on and build SilverBow.

Rest assured that things HAVE moved on in the last 12 months. In business, it is not wise to let all and sundry ( including many of the idiots on here ) aware of what is going on behind the scenes . People, many with their own agenda, come on here and spout utter, uninformed nonsense. Let the serious businessmen get on with the real business, and you people who know nothing, well you can continue to snipe and criticise things you just do not understand .

And all of these idiots are exactly the ones you want coming through the turnstile.

That is the  serious business sense you are talking about.

Thanks for that ,Pete.

Truro Postie, instead of coming on here ,and trying to defend the way you run things, and explaining to us idiots, that we know nothing.

Why not try and answer some question's.

Why cant TCFC owners pay for SilverBow.??????????????????????

Why cant TCFC owners try and buy back Treyew Rd.??????????????????????

It’s the 3rd Season without the players and staff not knowing where the club will be playing its football, also fans like you and TISA and the others who make up the numbers like myself having to put up with HOT air and broken promises from oh year our saviour (that badge is now past it's sell by date) I am glad that the team will be playing at Truro and hopefully against Torquay. BUT it can't go on, Truro City Football Club needs a ground (IN TRURO CORNWALL) the sooner the better it can only be good for the team and hopefully crowds will come back, I remember 550 -800 when the club was performing well

Secrets out it seems, been pursuing public money for a ground share with the pirates at S4C.......Silverbow dead in the water.

Stadium sharing was always going to be the option.......it was mentioned a few years ago by the chairman.....remember.

What was the other proposal for that other site ....stables, MMMmmm !! probably end up as houses I s'pect.

And crowds of 300/400 in a 4,000 seat stadium....that's going to be awesome (!)
