Agree with Willow, really think City have missed a trick here!! They could have matched the prices FGR were charging on Saturday or at the very least made it a tenner and kids for a quid or u18s free. It's meant to be a mildish dry evening, you could have potentially had a 700/800+ attendance with a few hundred of those kids that will be your supporters for decades to come and might be bringing their kids in 20 years (if there's still a Truro City!?!) Those neutrals that may well have been tempted will probably stay home in the warm and watch Norwich v Villa instead!!? Shame, as you could well be watching a team that will be in the football league next season with their very ambitious chairman and manager. I'll go for a 1-3 defeat and a crowd of 500 max. Hope I'm wrong though!!!  ⚽️😳😳

This game is a 'bonus' fixture so a cheaper than normal price would have enticed me and the missus to have a gander but not at £13 each. Dave has a point that as soon as the final whistle went on Saturday, the club would have exhausted every possible channel to advertise the game. Even if the board outside the ground read bout the FGR replay would have been something. Two Monday rush hours were missed but as least the Weston Super Mare game on Boxing Day should be well attended!

Commiserations to Truro city, who put a good show in the second half against fgr last Saturday

As a st juster in exile, now living in Gloucestershire, I am sorry to hear that the leading Cornish club charges so much for fans in one if the poorest nations in Europe to get in. My adult season ticket for fgr cost £230 for 23 league matches plus friendlies against Cardiff, Birmingham city and Newport county . we have a socialist chairman.....Truro city could do with the same. It's time to reclaim the workers' game from the fat cats again. Good luck for the rest if the season !

Abramovic remains in the public eye to diminish the chances of his being murdered by Putin and the other authoritarian capitalist scum who have taken over Russia. As a matter of fact I agree with you absolutely, GoldenEye. The fat cats if the premiership clubs....all of them...are killing grassroots football. I was achelsea fan when they weren't far off the third division and retain a fondness for the likes of droy, chopper Harris and even deadly Doug rougvie.

I saw Ron at The Falmouth clubhouse a while back and one story he told was when he almost marked amnd talked Jimmy Greaves out of the game in a Spurs v Chelsea clash.

Chopper said it was late in the game and he had Jimmy in his pocket and being close marked for a free kick Jimmy looked up to Ron and said do you think it will rain today Ron? -as you do Chopper looked up and Greavsie turned and scored.
