  1. Should have mentioned in the original post that we will be collecting any old sports shirts, shorts etc for kids in Africa like last year if anyone has any they can donate. It would also be great if attendees can wear a football shirt if at all possible - although this is purely voluntary. Thanks.

  5. This year's Saltash Football Reunion Night takes place at Saltash United Football Club on the evening of Friday, 16th June 2017. Tickets are £5.00 each and there will be live music provided by local musician Dave Gilbert and his 4 piece group. All proceeds go toward Huntington's Disease Research. The evening is open to anyone who has played for any of the local sides in Saltash - Saltash United, St Stephens Borough, Real Saltash, Burraton, Landrake, Ploughboy, Saltash Athletic, Saltash Town, Saltash WMC, Saltash United Ladies etc etc - or the youth sides in the town. Also welcome are any current or former club officials and also current or former referees, assistant referees & linesmen (club or otherwise). Wives, girlfriends, partners are also welcome. Tickets are available from myself or at Saltash United but payment can be made on the night. This promises to be a great evening and it would be great to see as many there as possible. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks, Julian

  9. Many many thanks to both Postman Pat & Soccer Follower for giving up part of their Easter Sunday to donate kit. I look forward to meeting you both on Sunday, Great gesture from you both.
  10. Slightly off topic - apologies - but are there too many reserve teams in the ECPL? Would there be a benefit in an SWPL Reserve League? I must confess to no real definite opinion one way or another. Having the better facilities available to play at is a real plus but can it effect the relegation / promotion issues?
  11. Weddings don't happen on the spur of the moment. How long had he known he was going? Why no advance notice and why take part in the training sessions if you knew you wouldn't be there? At any level managers would be off with such late notice.
  12. Thats a real shame as I always get it when down. Still remember the specials they use to do at the start of each season with photos of all the teams. Was always fun to try and spot how many players were in more than one team's photo!!!
  13. Soccer Follower / Postman Pat - PM'd you. Thanks
  14. Cheers guys - I will get back to you with my arrival time in Redruth
  15. Hi Postman Pat - does Easter Sunday am suit you - looking to book my train tickets. Hi Soccer Follower - just the same as I asked Postman Pat ie is Easter Sunday ok?
