  1. Durham squad pictured on their County Web Page as well as player listings.
  2. Yes i can remember playing against Tremorvah up at Kenwyn and also the Royal Standard Inn played there for a couple of seasons.
  3. Cullompton Rangers v AFC St.Austell. Whilst 'over the hedge' and kicking off at the same time - 3.00pm. It's Cullompton Rugby v St.Austell Rugby. Good idea to book a Double Decker and share the costs. Don't recall Senior Football and Rugby teams having identical fixtures.
  4. We have a Board Meeting on March 7th prior to which the draw will most probably be made. Want to get the S/C and J/C Cup Semi Final venues sorted out first. Then we can concentrate on the C/C. Thanks for asking.
  5. The draw for the Senior Cup Semi Final Ties will take place at Radio Cornwall on Saturday 18th February. At approx. 5.30 pm. The Semi Finals of the Junior Cup will be drawn also.
  6. Willow. Perranporth Sunday. Back in days of the Truro & District Sunday League. Remember playing for Riviera Coasters in 1968/69 against Perranporth at Penhale Army Camp. And another season up at Perranporth Air Field where anyone over 6 foot tall had to 'duck' when Gliders' were landing !! Assuming that both grounds are no longer in existence. Camborne Athletic, again in the T&DSL played adjacent to the Rugby Ground, assuming that's Park Road. Factory team, Rank Bush Murphy played on an awful pitch behind the Railway Inn at Pool. Pitch best dug up and used for cabbages. T&DSL 1968/69. Is there anyone out there who can remember where the Bullers Arms played, somewhere in the Illogan area. ??? Again a T&DSL side. 1967/68.
  7. Correct.
  8. 'Who owns the ground' good question, i'll see what i can find out.
  9. And don't forget Molinnis Park - Bugle. Bugle SWL Champions back in the 1970's. Sad state now, only used for Bugle Band Contest day.
  10. As far as the South West Counties Youth Championship is concerned. Group 'A' ( Cornwall's group ) has one final fixture remaining in the round robin ties. That is Somerset v Gloucestershire. Somerset need to win against a Gloucestershire side that have lost both to Devon & Cornwall. A victory for the 'Cider County' will give them 7 points from 9 max, where as Cornwall have gained 6 points from their 3 matches. Can't see Somerset slipping up based on what i saw yesterday. Hope i'm wrong.
  11. Would'nt describe the weather as 'awful' . No rain until a skiffy shower near the end. No wind as such, and fairly mild. Very competitive 'friendly' and many many thanks to all at 'The G' for staging the fixture at short notice.
  12. From Cornwall FA. Sincere condolences to Ray's family on hearing the very sad news that Ray has passed away. He will always be remembered as an outstanding footballer in his own right ( a cool penalty taker also ) added to which was his successful Management skills which resulted in the Cornwall team winning the South West County Championship in season's 2003 / 04 and 2005 /06. A personal friend who i will always remember and my deepest sympathy to Graham who like his Dad before him is always watching a local game somewhere in mid Cornwall. Ray RIP.
  13. Result. FA County Youth Cup / Quarter Final Result. Leicestershire & Rutland Youth 2 Durham Youth 3 After Extra Time. Durham will visit Cornwall in the Semi Final. S/F details will be realised via the County Office when confirmed.
  14. St.Stephen 7 - 1 St.Eval Spitfires.
  15. Boots, certainly will, if it's anything like this time last season. Anyway, where's St.Icker !!!
